When summer finally hits us, my mind turns to the sea, and then to my swimwear. For the past few years I have been longing for something sustainable to wear whilst in the ocean, something that doesn’t destroy or harm the waters, and maybe swimsuit or a bikini with some eco credentials, and finally the market seems to have listened.   Fabric innovations such as Econyl using regenerated Nylon made from recycled fishing nets has allowed both luxury and the high street to offer a wide range of options to the consumer.  Other brands have been looking at how recycled textiles can be used to make swimwear garments.  And the result… ALSO has put together our favourite selection of ocean friendly, sustainable swimwear that by no means compromise on style. So whether you’re on the British  coast for a spot of wild swimming, or perhaps somewhere a little warmer, you can have peace of mind that the production of your swimwear is not polluting the waters you swim in!
